Social Studies
Grades K-5: All students in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade receive Social Studies instruction two times a week through reasearch on topics, hands on experiences with primary resources and field trips that support their learning. The Social Studies Framework is designed to prepare students for college, career and civic life with courses that are rigorous and aligned to New York State Learning Standards, both Common Core and Social Studies.
